Microchipping

The permanent answer to identifying your pet.

A small permanent chip is placed into your pet which can be read by a scanner for quick identification and return.

A microchip is also essential, if you want to take your pet abroad on the Pet Travel Scheme. As you would expect from Sweeney Dog, all the pets we chip are logged for free on the Kennel Club’s Pet Log.

Pets can be microchipped during another service, or we can visit your home.
